Mycology Workshop for Junior Naturalists
Join us at Isla Mar's jungle classroom and forest canopy for an exciting workshop where teenagers will explore the fantastic world of fungi! In this session, our Junior Naturalists will be guided by local mycologist, Kurt Miller, to identify the diversity of fungi (mushrooms!) found in our tropical environment. We will learn how to record observations, sketch what we see, and better understand the importance of this incredible Kingdom to our local ecosystem. This workshop is part of our series for Junior Naturalists, although no prior experience or participation in other Junior Naturalist workshops is required.
