Join Us for an Urban Ecology Bioblitz!

Dive into the heart of nature in the bustling urban landscape with our guided Urban Ecology Bioblitz! Under the expert guidance of a seasoned ecologist, participants will embark on a project to document the interactions between birds and plants. Using the iNaturalist platform, you'll contribute valuable data by adding local plant species to our growing directory. As we explore the vibrant ecosystems along the Spanish Wall Trail in Domes, we will focus on observing how the forest recovers and thrives after disturbances. This area, known for its rich biodiversity, also faces challenges from invasive species and ongoing construction. Your observations will help us understand the native flora and fauna that call this area home. To wrap up our adventure, we will engage in a hands-on reforestation project, planting native species to support the recovery of this vital habitat. Join us in making a…
