About the Event

Exploration for Kids: Tidepools and Coral Reefs

We are offering a free class to explore tidepools and learn about coral reefs through dynamic fun like scavenger hunts, art and scientific experiments. This event is offered as part of the Puerto Rico Department of Natural and Environmental Resources' "Week of the Reef" to celebrate coral reefs around the island. The class will be two hours in duration and follow the same learning style and engagement as our traditional programming. The entire class will be taught at the beach and in the tidepools of the Tres Palmas Marine Reserve (no snorkeling).
