Volunteer Opportunity 

Shadowing Experience in Youth Education Program

Are you passionate about marine and island sciences? Do you enjoy working with children and making complex concepts fun and accessible? We’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers for a shadowing experience with our Youth Education Program!

As a volunteer, you’ll have the opportunity to directly engage in teaching marine and island sciences to students ages 5 to 12. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in science education and potentially become part of our team in the future.

What We’re Looking For:

Adaptable, creative, dynamic, and easygoing personality
Passionate about education and science
Bilingual (Spanish/English)
Experience teaching or working with children
Ability to explain complex ideas in a simple and engaging way

These shadowing opportunities begin in April and again in the Fall semester.
